Who is responsible for your data
Kuiksoft is the controller of the data we process in Crew Rivals. You can write to us at info@crewrivals.com with any question about your privacy.
What data we process
- Account: username, display name, avatar, password (encrypted; we never see it) and, if you provide it, your email. If you play as a guest, we don't ask for any data.
- Sign-in with Apple or Google: an identifier for your Apple or Google account and, if you share it, your email. We don't receive your password.
- Game: your teams, rounds, answers, scores, leagues, and the alerts you exchange with your teammates.
- Progress: your level, your achievements, your daily streaks and the reactions you send to your teammates' rounds.
- Country and language: the country you choose for your team (it determines your league and its time zone) and your phone's language. We don't use your location.
- Device: the identifier used to send you notifications (if you allow them) and technical connection data (IP address, date and time) to keep the service secure and to prevent cheating and abuse.
What we use it for
- To provide the service: your account, your team, the standings and the leagues (legal basis: performance of the contract when you accept the terms of use).
- To send you game notifications (reminders, your team, your league). You can turn them off in Settings or on your phone.
- To help you recover your account by email if you forget your password.
- To protect the game against cheating, abuse and attacks (legal basis: legitimate interest).
We don't sell your data or use it for personalized advertising. Your display name, avatar and scores are visible to other players within the game.
Who we share it with
Only with providers that help us deliver the service and act on our instructions: server hosting, Google Firebase (sending notifications), Apple and Google (if you choose to sign in with them) and our email provider. Some may process data outside the European Economic Area with the safeguards provided by law (standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions).
How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account. If you delete it, we immediately erase your name, email, sign-ins, devices and notifications; your past games remain anonymous so that other players' standings are not altered. Notifications in your inbox are deleted after 30 days, and recovery codes expire after 30 minutes.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict its processing, or request a copy by writing to info@crewrivals.com. You can delete your account yourself from Profile → Settings → Delete account or from this page. If you are not satisfied, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, aepd.es).
Minors
Crew Rivals is not intended for children under 14. If you are under that age, do not use the game without the consent of your parent or guardian.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will let you know in the app in advance.
